Absolutely! Painting tanalised wood not only makes your garden look great but also gives the timber an added layer of protection, which can only be a good thing. However, you do need to be careful when painting pressure treated timber.
You cannot paint freshly tanalised wood, since moisture in the timber will mean that the paint wont stick properly. Youll need to buy some pressure treated wood preservative and paint that on to seal the wood first. These preservatives do vary, so make sure to read the instructions. These instructions should tell you when its appropriate to paint on the preservative, how many coats you need, and how long you need to wait before applying paint.
Application
When applying our Timber Decking Non Slip Decking Paint to old decking & tanalised timber, it is highly recommended to firstly apply one coat of our Timber Decking & Balustrade Paint.
Please Note : Please thin 10-15% with our Industrial Thinner.
Once applied & allowed to dry, please apply unthinned our Timber Decking Non Slip Paint.

This paint is amazing. You certainly get what you pay for.
We were gifted some old deck boards to replace a rotten deck. We didn’t want something grey or brown so the choice of colour really appealed to us. We used the balustrade paint as primer. As recommended, And we sanded down after the first top coat. It’s made the boards look amazing.
The pigment is really strong and it gives great coverage. The only thing I can’t comment on is longevity.
Top tips: 1) don’t be tempted to apply it too thick. As you do with diy store stuff. It really drips! 2) You don’t need to clean your brushes after each coat, just clingfilm them. There is soo much oil in this paint you will be okay to use them a week later. And 3) coats is ideal. The Pictures are with 2 coats. 3 and it looked amazing. 4) delivery is 10 working days. It is worth the wait, honestly.

I have had this paint before. It was easy to stir and the 'grit' suspended well in the paint without having to stir it constantly.
This time I could not get the 'grit' to stir into the paint. It kept dropping to the bottom, no matter how frequently I stirred the paint it was not 'suspending ' . Time will tell if its non slip.

The paint itself is good. Quite thin and very strong smelling ! However, it had been down a while and the decking seems to be holding up quite well. Will probably update after the winter months!
Coverage was not as good as stated so had to order another tin. It is definitely non slip ! Which is great. Make sure you really really stir it!
Delivery was a problem, took way longer than the ten working days, had to chase it up. To be fair the company dispatched it same day when I did and YODEL decided to faff around delivering it , which was not the companies fault.
If I could change anything it would be the lead time ! Took too long to arrive.
Other than that, cracking paint !! (Well it’s not cracking, it is very lovely !)
