Heavy Duty Anti Slip Timber Decking Paint Overview

Timber Decking Paint is a hard wearing non slip polyurethane one pack paint designed to seal & colour timber tanalised decking. Provides anti-slip properties for pedestrian traffic areas.
For all exterior wooden decking boards & staircases. Can be used for ribbed, grooved & especially smooth surfaces.
Simply the best anti slip decking paint on the market.

  • Micro-aggregates give increased grip
  • Provides a slip-resistant surface in wet conditions

We highly recommend cleaning paint brushes, paint rollers & spray equipment with our Industrial Brush Cleaner & Thinner available in 1 litre & 5 litres can sizes.

Can I Paint Tanalised Wood?

Absolutely! Painting tanalised wood not only makes your garden look great but also gives the timber an added layer of protection, which can only be a good thing. However, you do need to be careful when painting pressure treated timber.

You cannot paint freshly tanalised wood, since moisture in the timber will mean that the paint wont stick properly. Youll need to buy some pressure treated wood preservative and paint that on to seal the wood first. These preservatives do vary, so make sure to read the instructions. These instructions should tell you when its appropriate to paint on the preservative, how many coats you need, and how long you need to wait before applying paint.

Application

When applying our Timber Decking Non Slip Decking Paint to old decking & tanalised timber, it is highly recommended to firstly apply one coat of our Timber Decking & Balustrade Paint.

Please Note : Please thin 10-15% with our Industrial Thinner.

Once applied & allowed to dry, please apply unthinned our Timber Decking Non Slip Paint.

That it is good

Nothing

Give it a good shake!

The anti slip element of this paint was stuck to the bottom of the tin so I recommend turning it upside down for a while and then stirring vigorously. Once applied, it looks great and does what it says!

The paint is fantastic

I didn’t want to write a review immediately as it was far too cold to paint, but I could have written a review about the excellent service and the faster than lightening delivery. Oh and the pretty white paint can mmmm.

So we wanted to paint the deck and deck paths ( I hate painting decking by the way) my wife is disabled so we need an anti slip surface, not for her she is already disabled but to prevent me becoming disabled as I tend to be accident prone. So we live rural and travel to a diy store to find we have several options in various versions of grey brown or well grey or brown.

Imagine our delight when for a little more ( actually substantially less I’ll explain) you can have any colour so we went for shocking pink sorry Ruby now your not getting the whole picture as there is duck egg furniture and a rug yet to be decided. To be fair I wanted to show it finished but to day the sun shines it’s 18 degrees so I thought I’ll put down the base coat so look at it that’s the base coat it’s brilliant full of grit the non slip is perfect and I still need to apply coat 2. It’s raining tomorrow and for the next 7 days so guess it’s just beer music and longing for the next time I can delve into the shocking Ruby pink tin.

However there is a down side my wife says it looks so good we could have a different colour each year! I give up.
