Direct To Metal (DTM) Paint is a high-build, fast air-drying gloss coating designed for direct application to bare or primed metal surfaces. Its durable formulation provides excellent corrosion resistance, allowing for long-lasting protection without the need for a primer or undercoat. Suitable for interior and exterior use, DTM Paint delivers a hard-wearing, smooth finish with ease of application.

Applications & Uses

• Bare or primed metal surfaces

• Rusted metal surfaces (applies directly)

• Doors, frames, railings, machinery, and other metalwork requiring gloss protection

Application & Coverage

• Apply by brush, roller, or spray for smooth, even coverage

• Coverage: 12 m² per litre

• Gloss finish provides a professional, long-lasting appearance

• Available in BS4800, BS381c, and RAL colour ranges

Drying & Curing

• Touch dry: 30 minutes

• Recoat: 60 minutes

• Full cure: Allow 24 hours before heavy handling or exposure
